I've been trying to get my wife to agree to cancel cable for a while (I was pitching OTA) and tonight she saw an IPTV setup and saw all the movies and sports channels, etc. and was intrigued.

I've been going through posts here for the past hour and think I'm getting the gist of it but I'm wondering if someone can point me in a direction to really get my head around IPTV.

I'm pretty good at figuring this stuff out - used to hack a TiVo back in the day - but would love some expert advice on hardware (she saw an android box that also had a remote with keypad on the back). And the best way to get TV and specifically SportsNet because we have to watch the Jays!
