Need Help With IPTV

by Salam81

Hi,

I have lots of cousins and friends. I want to make an IPTV box for almost each of them. I know i would have to update almost all the channels everyday but I don't mind.

My question is there a way for me to update all the channel all at once for everyone at the same time. I want to manege all of their devices remotely, lets say removing a channel turning off the service etc. I want a device and setup to make me be able to do all that. I've seen the Stalker Portal or something like that, I don't know if that will work but please let me know how to do it. Which device should I use, what software do I need, etc.

If someone has any suggestions please explain to me in details I'm new to this.

Thank you in advance!

I dont think you can manage the boxes like that, in the sense that you can remotely add/remove addons and such. However, you can add the channels in a m3u list, put it somewhere online in a host, and configure the simple iptv pvr client to use a remote path for the m3u url, disable the local cache and like that, every time Kodi is started, it will download the list from the server. Combine that all with a good epg source for the channels in the PVR Client and you will be good.

It is how I do it for my self and parents and some friends, and so far worked very nice. I also prefer the native Live TV interface of Kodi, instead of the video addon one, like stalker client is using...

I can almost guarantee it would be overwhelming to consistently update all those channels, that often. Especially after doing all that work of getting them each boxes made.

I would contemplate checking out a paid IPTV service that will handle the heavy-lifting of updating the links/guide.

MKTV is worth taking a look at, as it's donation based, and not a yearly fee. Lot's of satisfied customers. There's many alternatives as well.

I'm also trying to get this done for a few of my friends and family.

If you don't want to take the time to update the m3u url, you should look into NTV.mx a paid IPTV service for Kodi. They have a service that allows you control and manage accounts that you sold to your "clients" The down side is that it is a monthly cost to your friends and family, but it is convenient in that you don't need to update m3u lists.
