is there a way to convert a YouTube 24/7 LiveStream into a m3u?

For example:

The link never changes, and the stream is up 24/7.

Youtube url changes never but m3u8 (HLS) stream url is changing as example every hour.

Would it not make sense to setup a cron job on a server to check the link validity and update every hour and create an playlist file, then provide a URL to this file in kodi?
