Hi,
I'm looking for an iptv setup that is easy to use. I think in general I mean :
- EPG support
- Mobile client support (IOS & Android) for 'second screen' viewing.
- Easy to use
- Doesn't need fettling or fiddling with every other week to keep running.
I've been using openelec/kodi/xbmc/mediaportal for years to stream locally content in the house. The user friendliness of these has proved great for the whole family to use. I'm looking to extend that to IPTV if possible.
I currently have x86 boxes running openelec. If I can use something there as a plugin(s) then great but I'm open to buying new hardware if it provides a better experience.
At the moment my uneducated thought is Ruya + On Tapp + Kodi. I have no idea how all that will work either individually or when integrated (if even possible).
Can anyone say if I'm on the right track or if they can recommend a 'complete stack' to effectively replace the ease of use of a legacy cable style box?
Thanks!
Best thing would be to purchase a STB box such as MAG or AVOV, IPTV services works great on those.
