So I found [this thread] ( https://www.reddit.com/r/NHLStreams/comments/49dubk/kodi_tutorial_to_watch_every_nhl_game_home_and/ ) the other day on how to watch NHL games on Kodi. Picture quality is amazing but the video skips every few second, almost as if it was trying to catch up. I currently use Avov TVOnline box. So the question is, is this problem related to hardware or is there something else causing it.
It's the source of the stream causing the issue.
Could be due to server overload, poor quality, etc.
If it's a free source, that's why. If it's a paid service, you may need to contact them about the issue, and/or look at alternate service providers. Especially when it comes to sports. Free streams are always swarmed by leeches, causing the exact symptoms you describe.
