Could anyone explain how stb is different im not a fan of the waiting 20 seconds for a channel to load up on the kodi app but its not a deal breaker really wish there was a tv guide tho i tried ivue but made the video lag to much.Anyone with experience with both apps id love to hear your opinions
I was looking for the same , my Mag 254 has a guide and numbered channels , Kodi is great for "free" content, a roku with a good sub works better than kodi anyday(plus you depend on a 3rd party to create an app and hope they continue to support it).
Give the STB Emulator option a 1 day trial. I believe the trial is separate for each method of access so if you haven't used it yet for the stb emulator then do try it as it's a huge improvement over the current Kodi app.
Have you tried On Tapp Tv Guide ? Costs a little bit but its a perfect tv guide add on for Kodi, I have a Ruya sub and it integrates perfectly, slightly slow but its a great guide and will only continue to improve.
