ntv.mx vs iptvsubs

by amrits077

Putting price aside, which do you guys believe is the better option. I used the trial of IPTVSUBS on kodi and I found the channels to be kind of grainy. I am looking for slightly better quality and was wondering if ntv.mx would fulfill what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for the help.

You're not gonna get much better picture quality from NTV.

All the streams are like 480x576p, roughly identical if not worse than some of IPTVsubs channels.

Not too mention, NTV has been the subject of several DDOS attacks over the last month or two. A week or two ago they reported they completely changed servers to deal with the DDOS attacks, however it still doesn't seem like they've fully worked the bugs out.

Best advice would be go month to month for a short period, testing the two services out the way you plan to use them. Each service has their downsides, just see if they affect you and the times you watch TV.

I have been a subscriber NTV in 3 years. I stopped using my satellite dish. http://www.ntv.mx?r=fre

I have fire tv box that is rooted so the only way I can watch directv app is when it is sideloaded. I now have directv so it saves me money by not having to buy a client for the tv in the cellar. I was just hoping that directv had a addon in kodi because that would be sweet.

Btw- is that where the iptv guys usually get their streams from? I was wondering...

Good question but needs qualifier clarification.

what most people don;t talk about is each pros and cons of IPTV services based on individual needs. ex: I am US channel user, mainly live sports. so ntv.mx is not good for me, so I use iptvsubs. this doesn;t mean ntv.mx is worth than iptvsubs, it all depends on what you need for channels.

most tv shows i use torrent, watch later in HD, no commercials. i realize people who live in countries where they track IP and send you nasty mails, torrent is not for you. (unless VPN) But more importantly most shows I can wait to watch later, unlike live sports.

BTW I reviewed 25+ iptv services. SO far IPTVsubs is best for me. Also I realize most iptv(if not all) are pirated like torrents (let's be honest), so never know how long they gonna last. enjoy them while they last. lol

Maybe USTVNow is 100% legal? but who knows?

Also a "ultimate ntv.mx" subscriber here... and would like to add:

  1. the picture quality is great, no joke - it's actually very good compared to other IPTV like iptv66 that I run in parallel. iptv66 is unwatchable.
  2. the channels do not line up... ex. comedy central HD shows USA, same for SD, sports channels over cartoon network, etc.
  3. Some channels (ex. Tennis channel) has been showing a bouncing DTV sign for weeks. UmmmmK....
  4. The Guide.... you can forget about it... it doesn't exist.
  5. This recent ddos attack... will they somehow reimburse for the outage.. i don't expect it and I can't really blame them, it's out of everyone's control. It would be nice if they did, but hey.... expecting honor among st thieves is so 2015.
  6. The ntv.mx plug in plain sucks! I've only tested it on Kodi, so i can't speak for MAG etc.... but on Kodi, combined with above issues, and in addition navigation - plain awful.

Conclusion - if they can fix this - even with the limited channel lineup they offer in the "ultimate package" it would be worth $27USD.....

If not - don't waste your money, you'll be overpaying for what you get.
