IPTVsubs vs NFPS

by StudentOf33

Hey guys, I wanted to get some opinions on NFPS (IPTV Private Server, IKS66, etc).

  • What are the pro's and con's of having something like NFPS?
  • Will it work on Kodi?
  • What US channels do they offer, and how consistent is the viewing?
  • Can the services be used on more than 1 device at a time? (Not looking to share, however I want to be able to view it on 1 more device in my home at the same time.)

I currently have IPTVsubs and SportsAccess, extremely satisfied. I've just been seeing some good things about IPTV Private Server, and wanted to compare the two services. To add, I am not looking for ultra crisp HD, just watchable streams (540p would be sufficient enough).

Thanks!

I'm in my last 3 months of my sub with NFPS. I'm reading that a user already told you the reality of the service. If you want it as a reliable cable or satellite alternative, you'll be disappointed. If you don't mind to play with Kodi setups, follow NFPS forums for important posts, or use its service as a hobby, I don't think you'll have a problem. Video quality is not top notch, but they're increasing video resolution of some channels lately. I'm happy with their service, and if nothing new comes up on July, I think I'll renew my sub.

Channel availability was pretty similar, but the quality is worse and the reliability is awful.

Keep in mind the internet is a breeding ground for complainers. I am about 2/3 thru my first year sub. I actually love it. Pros are it is affordable, lots of channels, Ppv events, does work with kodi thru an add-on such as IPTV stalker or built in stalker client. Also price was just dropped to $80 year from $105. The cons are, does go out on occasion, requires a lot of attention, it is def not plug and play. You need to keep all the internet peripherals up to date and functioning optimally. It seems the people that complain either do not have adequate and or reliable internet connection, insufficient router or modem, get the best one you can afford. In regards to channel buffering and performance the device they use with Kodi on it, such as a fire stick with not enough ram, buffering is likely. For best results a minimum of 2 gig of ram is recommended. Overall if your willing to do the work and enjoy tinkering it is a fun hobby and a great service for price. Currently there are, 854 channels.

I have been using NFPS for almost a year. It has it's ups and downs for sure, but when it works it's been great for me. It seems to have smoothed out quite a bit in the past few weeks and I haven't had any buffering or outages. My EPG guide has been a bit strange, but I think that's the feed and not the guides fault. It's true that you have to keep up with all the changes, but for $80 a year I'm not complaining. I think a lot of work goes into maintaining these things and I think they do the best they can to keep things up and running.

Had nfps. Paid the year, it was pretty useless for me. Because of all the buffering, i gave up on maintaining it and just ate the subscription.

On my 3rd day of iptvsubs, day 1 was constant buffering. Watching it now and pretty stable. Glad they have a 1 month trial..... haha its buffering now.

Edit, its been buffering for the last 2-3 minutes. Unfortunately i dont have patience for this shit and will watch something on antenna

NFPS is pretty bad, I use it since I haven't went to IPTVSubs yet.

No complaints from NFPS. Other then the odd downtime the service imo is rock solid.. Rarely buffer and has all the PPV events plus a ton of PPV movies in 720p.

I purchased 60 subs for nfps, I will not renew them. Can't watch anything without it freezing every 5-10 seconds. This is with my 250mbit connection...

Time to find another provider that I can buy bulk accounts from.
