I've had no issues with the Avov boxes, particularly TV Onlinev2 and Online Plus models.

I went with an Nvidia Shield TV, this is not a typical box, but it can do all sorts of stuff for a very decent price. You can run IPTV via Kodi but also with an apk, although I haven't tried this.

Easiest to use may not be the shield.

While it is one of the most powerful devices on the market, all that power isn't necessary to run a(n) HD video stream. The Nvidia Shield is for people that anticipate gaming on their TV, as well as watching/streaming media. Otherwise, you're spending money on hardware that will never be used close to its full potential.

It will really depend on the exact uses this box will serve. Do you want it to only provide IPTV content? If so, a MAG box would be right up your ally in the ease-of-use department. It's the closest thing to a cable box replacement, and makes it super easy to find your channels and start watching without hunting through Kodi menus. Also, depending on your provider, there can be VOD (video on-demand) content available from the MAG box as well, potentially eliminating most needs for Kodi.

*There's also an STB Emulator app for Android, that essentially turns any Android box into a MAG device. Overall it does function nearly the same as a true MAG box.

As I said, depends what services you plan to use, and functionality you expect. Any standard M8S box/Fire TV will serve the purpose of basic HD stream playback, while a MAG box will handle IPTV solely without Kodi, and the Nvidia Shield TV is basically the All-In-One, which comes with a price tag.

I also have an avov box and I must say it's been fantastic to me so far.
