IPTVSubs Scam Like Experience

by agilehumor

I signed up for a trial for Kodi and after sending one month of bitcoin within a few minutes of checkout...my order is "on hold" after 24 trial ended.

The only valid way that seems to work is to give them your credit card number (which, while they Paypal will give your name to the authorities, so will their credit card processor...so not really a good reason to want your credit card # directly.

I've only been trying IPTV for 24 hours. I had to start looking since my cable company started cablecard encrypting local TV channels and I couldn't watch in Kodi UI any longer. However, with the US election, I was hoping to get some non-local news channels and nothing I can find allows a live feed in Kodi. Flix2Kodi takes care of the rest.

  • Has anyone had any similar experiences with Bitcoin? Do they want to harvest your CC?
  • Any more reputable alternatives that work with Kodi and have EPG?

IpTVSubs seem to have the best Kodi experience, so I'm bummed to have to go through the process of EPG and other updates with another provider.

Note - First post hidden for some reason when I wanted to update that I have not heard anything from their support after 72 hours (email or their support ticket website).

I paid Friday via Bitcoin and my account is still on hold as well. I have tried contacting their customer service with no answer.

Holy shit, I was just beginning to worry about this and then I see this post.

I paid yesterday with BTC and my order is also on hold. Sadly my trial expired yesterday as well so I can't use the service at all.

I did open a support ticket this morning and am hoping for a response.

Can't say as I've had nearly the same experience. Hopefully this is an anomaly (sorry that it's happening to you). I've paid multiple times using bitcoin with no issues.

Is there any chance that one of your transaction inputs was unconfirmed (i.e. potential double spend)? Try searching the transaction ID on blockchain.info or blockr.io

If you need to provide a CC in the future but want anonymity, try using a prepaid/gift visa or mastercard. There's also virtual credit cards that work quite well and can maintain anonymity (BitPay and cryptopay jump to mind; I can only vouch for cryptopay.me and can confirm they don't require personally identifiable information. Avoid advcash)

i pay also through bitcoin. jast time i opened a ticket it was due to some delay on their btc processing end. Just open a ticket and they usually help thats why i just paid 6 months upfront to avoid BTC issues also they have new kodi beta app u can test on their forum real upgrade must say

Yeah I never had an issue. Did not use bitcoin but their customer service has been pretty spot on. I've noticed you get answers during business days mostly. Never had service later at night and on weekends. Normally my ticket gets answered 1 to 2 business days at most. And when they reply they re answer usually within the hour.

Has anyone had this resolved yet? I paid for 1 month with bitcoin and it is still showing pending.

What emails are people using for contacting them? So far they have scammed $70 off of me. I was paying by the month and everything was fine. I did a 3 month and they never reply to emails. Basically the same experience you posted but I'm on 3+ weeks now of waiting. Forums are broken... so I'm stuck with email or social media sites. Any suggestions?
