Are all these options similar in quality? Has anyone used all three and recommends one over the other for reasons they can share - be it price, customer service, etc?
I am looking to get in on a month somewhere, in the next couple of days and have a Kodi box and a plex server. It would be great if osmeone knew a plex source for iptv - I searched and found a guy who has a fb site, but there wasn't much there I felt comfortable trusting. The other three options I am suggesting seem to have a reputation that proceeds themselves.
I've tried all 3 services: iptvsubs, sports access, and ruya.
You mentioned that you wanted more Ruya feedback. I've recently finished my first month with Ruya and have mixed feelings.
When it works, it's unbeatable (although sports access has equal stream quality; legitimate 720). For UK sports, channels are mostly 720 with some 1080. Entertainment channels like Food and Home networks are SD 4:3 (watchable, but nothing to write home about). American sports and channels are another story. In general, they did not work for me. They would load, look great, and then freeze and/or lose audio within a few seconds.
I can't speak to Ruya's PPV offerings as I've never tried. It's also worth noting that Ruya has solid on demand offerings as well (though I know you said that's low priority).
I think you should ask yourself what you're looking for out of iptv.
Do you want to fully replace cable with 24/7 iptv? Strongly consider iptvsubs as it has TV Guide integration etc that will feel more like regular cable.
Do you want mostly sports, but at great quality? Sports access is best in my opinion.
Do you want UK centric content with good quality for sports and all football matches? Ruya is for you.
Also consider keeping a sub to sports access and iptvsubs; best of both worlds. Great quality sports with 24/7 channels too. And at less than $30 total per month, still a lot less than traditional cable (at least where I'm from)
