New to IPTV

Trying to get into IPTV since Bell Canada raised my TV price but I have no clue how it works and where to get started.

If just starting outout, you may also want to look into Kodi ( https://kodi.tv/ ) which can be installed on a computer or smartphone which you probably already have. Some iptv providers are compatible with Kodi, but not all.

Iptvsubs.is is an example of a provider that works with kodi. They also have a 24 hour trial for free, so overall cost should be $0 to get your feet wet :-)

Instead of getting your content delivered to you VIA cable or satellite, with IPTV the content is streamed to you using your internet connection.

Check these guys out. They're canadian and have good email support and also have a variety of servers to chose from. You pick the server that closely matches the content you're looking for http://www.tecfront.ca/faq/ http://www.tecfront.ca/shop/iptv.html

With IPTV, you should hop onto an internet plan with unlimited bandwidth. Download speeds of 10-15MBPS should be okay and upload of 5MBPS.

Look over some of the posts in this sub. There's tons of information available!

Try not to buy one of those "preloaded" boxes. You can buy Mag254 for around $100 and load your own portal (whatever server you end up subscribing to). It takes 5 mins max.
