How-To Safely Subscribe to a Paid IPTV/Sports Service (If You Absolutely Must)

by tvaddonsdotag

Since it seems like the majority of people on this thread are interested in this, even though TV ADDONS strongly discourages the use of these services, I figured that explaining how I would go about purchasing a membership to one of these services would be the responsible thing to do.

Before getting started, it is important that you understand that according to the rule of the law (not necessarily yet set in precedent, but you don't want to be the first) paying for a paid IPTV service is far more illegal than simply accessing free content online, it could be considered fraud. I'd suggest consulting with a lawyer if you value your clean record.

Now, onto what you actually want to hear about, how you can ensure you don't end up in legal trouble when subscribing to a paid IPTV service:

ONLY USE SERVICES THAT ACCEPT BITCOIN - keep in mind that Bitcoin is very easy to trace back to you, since there is a public ledger that traces all transactions, so follow these instructions below.

Step 1: Get a VPN (Some that I recommend are: https://www.tvaddons.ag/best-vpn-2016/ )

Step 2: Install the VPN apps on your Android Box, Computer and Mobile Phone, and Make Sure That It's Running!

Step 3: Download the TextMe App to your Mobile Phone. Use a mailinator.com address (check their site, it gives you a throw away email) to create your account, and don't input your real phone number during the account creation process!

Step 4: Create a Dummy Gmail Account (Use the local phone number you get using the TextMe app to verify the account registration, since you are behind a VPN it will be necessary.

Step 5: Signup to LocalBitcoins.com with your Dummy Gmail Account and Use your TextMe phone number, be sure to put a novelty name and address, and not your real information. If the seller needs a phone number, use your TextMe number, tell them to text message only since it only includes minimal calling time for free, and if you have to pay it'll take the anonymity out of it.

Step 6: Arrange to meet someone local to buy the amount of Bitcoins you need. Have them transfer the Bitcoins into your LocalBitcoins.com wallet, in front of you of course. I'd recommend buying enough for a few months of service, so you don't have to go through the hassle every month.

Step 7: Choose whichever paid IPTV service you wish to use! Again, ensure you are using a VPN and use your novelty gmail address and not any of your real information. If you're going to go with one of these services, use the biggest one with the best repuation, don't use "little guy" because the smaller services are known to disappear.

Step 8: Pay for your service subscription with Bitcoin of course, using the Bitcoins you bought earlier.

Step 9: Configure the paid service addon on your device, confirm that you have your VPN app running before each time you use it, even if it's on your Android TV box. Again: ALWAYS USE YOUR VPN, AT ALL TIMES!

That's pretty much it. The only weak link would be the TextMe app, but it's minimal risk, if you want to be 100% safe you could use a prepaid mobile phone instead.

Following those steps makes me think maybe would be better to stick with my cable company. I bought MAG254 recently and been trying several IPTV services with demo and even paid a few. So far SoftIPTV seems to be a best one. Tecfront.ca was really disappointment. I had their demo with channel package IPTVGuys and channels are really bad in quality and many did not even work at all. As well I did not find payment method with Paypal. There have been few fraud "operators" as well. All in all I am really disappointed so far. NTV seems to be very popular but channel packages with MAG are really expensive in my opinion.

Or even easier, get a guy of Kijiji/craigs to buy you a sub and pay him cash

You do realize that your giving step by step advice on how to break DCMA Law? Great advice. By the way Streaming media is not illegal your not even Pseudo streaming, Downloading or Dissemination is illegal (your not committing a crime when you watch a bank robbery) When you copy media to your computer or DVR it without permission or from an illegal source that is illegal. There has been no precedence set and Hollywood has pursued no one to date.
