Is subscribing to paid IPTV services really as dangerous as tvaddonsdotag post suggest?

by venomo160

Hey all,

Any opinions on the recent post by tvaddonsdotag regarding dangers of subscribing to paid IPTV services? More specifically, this part: "Before getting started, it is important that you understand that according to the rule of the law (not necessarily yet set in precedent, but you don't want to be the first) paying for a paid IPTV service is far more illegal than simply accessing free content online, it could be considered fraud. I'd suggest consulting with a lawyer if you value your clean record."

No, it's pure FUD.

They are just butthurt.

There is literally 0 difference between paying for say, a movie, from an unauthorized source or getting it for free from an unauthorized source.

No, it's complete nonsense. Criminal law generally doesn't differentiate between paying for something or getting it for free.

The police don't care if someone gave you that weed or you paid for it. They care that you have it.

The police don't care if someone stole something and gave it to you or sold it to you. They care that you have possession of stolen property.

TVaddons post quite a bit of made up shit, can't be arsed linking any articles but they seem to have a tendency to post scare stories

How is IPTV services different from Torrent downloads? Can ISP track IP address of IPTV like torrent?

I heard cases in US, UK, AUS, etc where customers got a notice/letter from ISP threatening to cut service cus caught downloading torrents.

Could this be true for IPTV services?

Posting from https://www.tvaddons.ag ?? hahaha. They are a joke.

They don't like any conversations about IPTV services cus they wanna promote worthless addons claiming to get FREE streams.

What they don;t tell you is FREE streams come from public servers used by many free loaders who can't(or don't wanna) afford $10-20/mo. Paid iptv are private servers, or paid servers.

Better to pay for iptv and get HD, limited buffering than FREE addons barely SD and constant buffering.

What's interesting is who's making money by promoting addons for free streaming? It's like a cult following, blind. Again addons are worthless.

Sure everybody knows iptv are illegal pirated satellite feeds. So are torrents. Enjoy it while they last, don't worry.

/u/tvaddonsdotag is nothing but a troll. Paid for IPTV services, whilst maybe not legit for the provider is perfectly legal for us clients (In the UK anyway).

www.ntv.mx is legal service and you have safe payments there!
