Is there a way of integrating the Kodi Live TV guide with an IPTV provider?

by SandStorm1863

Hi all,

I don't know if i'm alone with this request or not, but I am a heavy TVheadend user with a local instance in the UK of just Freeview channels. I like it as my family are now used to it, and with the Live TV guide being in the standard Kodi interface, it's easy to back out to other sections like Movies etc.

I've tried a few IPTV providers and also On-Tapp EPG and they're fine, but I prefer the native Kodi Live TV EPG for familiarity. I've not yet found a way of integrating the channel selections you can get from premium IPTV providers with the inbuilt standard Kodi "Live TV" EPG, can it be done?

I read your question as.

I want to integrate channel selections from premium IPTV providers with the inbuilt standard Kodi "Live TV" application. Can this be done?

Kodi does have a "Live TV" EPG that can be enabled (unfortunately I can't help you there). Why are you not integrating premium epg with your TVHeadend server?

That way you don't have to individually setup each kodi client.

IpGuys works with Kodi. The EPG isn't perfect, but it's okay. It won't auto load channel logos but they can added somewhat easily.

Hi. NTV can do what you are looking for. Those guys are probably the best IPTV service around. They have been around for ages. Also, their streams are really stable. Their support is also really good. Those guys know what they are doing.
