Im trying full-hd-iptv at the moment running on a sony 4k TV using there personal app , i have more than enough INTERNET connection but for some reason the picture is distorted and blurred , my question is is a standalone android TV sufficient enough to run full 1080p streams at a high bitrate? or would a android box like nivida sheild be better for actually pic quality.
If the picture is distorted and blurred it means your provider is oversubscribed. Try a 30 dollar S905 box, it's what I use, and see if it makes a difference. if it does, then it means the app on your tv sucks, if it doesn't then it's the provider.
What box are you using? I used nvidia shield with them and had no issues.
