Some help with IPTV and choosing Android box

by coolguy1861

I live in Canada so I've been looking at tecfronts website and their IPTV subs. I want to choose a sub from IPGuys, IPTV, and IPTV Express. I watch North American TV shows and sports-preferably some Canadian channels. Which box do I need? Can I buy one from alixexpress or something similar? or do I have to buy Tecfronts AVOV box? Their boxes seem more expensive then ones I've seen online, but if they work easily I will buy them. And can I use the AVOV box as a file/media player with USB etc. as well? Thanks.

I am running an stb emulator on an s905 box. It works but there are issues like your emulated mac address no longer working and having to contact the reseller and getting a new address setup. I am about to purchase a mag 254 or 256 as I don't want to have to deal with this hassle again.

You don't need much. A 30 dollar android box will d9 the job, but it can and will have issues.

Also if I buy just a nexus player from wal-mart, and get one of the above mentioned subs will it work easily? or will I have to spend a lot of time setting up?Thanks.

If you're going to use this box for IPTV only I would suggest MAG256 in terms of reliability in hardware and picture quality but if you want IPTV/Android I would suggest one of the Avov products (they have a very below par marketplace that is restricted). But do take in mind the Avov products are rarely updated and below par in terms of hardware also compared to other boxes on the market. If you just want a great well rounded android box I would suggest Minix or like the other guy mention a S905/S912 chip set box. Hope that helps!

I just got a month from theiptvguy to check out since he has some Canadian . Same line up as iptvcanada, ipguys. It's ok. Looks like they use NFPS and not Ruya, which means the quality isn't that great. Even the channels labeled as HD are maybe 576. But still, the channels are stable 0 buffering over the last couple of days. Which is more than I can say about stalker when I had that. It was terrible.

I'm using it on KoDI which uses the Stalker PVR to play the streams, not an addon. Easy set up. Took 6 hrs to recive a MAC once I signed up. Then just enter the Web url and enable the TV option in the Stalker settings. You might want to consider this option if you are looking to add external storage or use USB's to play media. You could install KODI on an older laptop or something. I think those boxes are pretty limited in what they can do
