Provider recommendation to watch Kodi in Australia?

by gidxg03

I'm using Kodi on my PC in Australia. Have tried several subscription providers including DexterTV and Rash but cannot find one where I can watch HD channels without buffering. Our connection is NBN 100/40 so our speed is not an issue but I understand using a UK/US based provider is probably the issue. Can anyone recommend a provider that can be used in Australia without buffering?

Hey bud, I've got some people from Adelaide and Sydney using my service and its working fine for them. Check out www.ruya-iptv.com and I'll get you a 24hr test account. Thanks

Smoothstreams mate. ATM regos are closed but will be open again soon. join the subreddit /r/smoothstreamstv I use it on my lowly 17M Adsl2 connection with no issues. Father shares the connection with me (you can have up to 3 connections at same time) and he is on cable

Have you tried using VPN?

I'm on Telstra cable, so nowhere near NBN speeds, and have tried:

  • IPTVsubs.is -- didn't work for me, HD never played correctly, dropouts and buffers aplenty

  • Sportsaccess.se -- no issues with streams, but not really a full IPTV experience, also a lot of people have experienced bad service from them lately

  • RuyaXL -- easy Kodi addon, UK channels all work nicely and in 1080p for the most part. Weekends are hit and miss around prem games though.

  • Smoothstreams -- next on my list to try

When Ruys works, it works brilliantly. What shits me most about it though is that the channels are up and down sometimes; BBC buggered off completely for a weekend recently. As far as I can work out this is common to all resellers and is something Ruya's end (though I stand to be corrected if this isn't accurate.)

One of the reasons I signed up for Ruya was its promise of catch-up, which I'd mostly use for BBC and EPL games. Ruya seem to have neglected this which is a a shame, some UK channels haven't updated since August and a Sky Sports Super Sunday crapped out after 30 minutes despite being a 3 hour show.
