Who wants to work on a comparison

by suley2

Hi All,

Alot of providers here seem to jump on every topic and suggest they are great, it would be good to have a comparison thread that compares, maybe a Excel doc hosted on Google which we update.

I wanted to know who would be interested in this but also willing to contribute, I was thinking we could have Package Lists, HD, Bit Rate, Maybe Price and Peer or Own content.

We can work on the contents and layout but I think it would be useful for users, servers may not like the idea but it gives choice.

Also I would want the mods to check the idea just to make sure we dont break any rules

Ok Guys, Have a look at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xCtvS_YcQed7RiKNcYLxkVaJAyqcZn-Hy9Y90bQQFO4/pubhtml?gid=2135567371&single=true Let me know your thoughts!

Not sure if its too big or about right. If you think it could be better in another format let me know :)

This is a great idea, I'd help fill out the spreadsheet with what my sub gives me and the quality of each.

Excellent idea. We should also support and communication. Ease of payment and setup to the scale. Less tech users will find that useful. Perhaps % up and down helps. My subs been more than adequate so far from quality, support, communication, setup and payment.

That will be great for newbies... Very good initiative.

I've always wished there was something like this.

We don't jump on every topic :) We only post on topics that are relevant to our service, in the interest of helping others in need. We are hardcore sports fans and want to share our service with others looking for the same.

Also, we are not a fly by night service. We have been around over 10 years :) We look at like we are providing a service, not as if we are selling a commodity, trying to move as much product as possible. We care about our community.

Look forward to see where we stand in the comparison :)

Thanks all for your input, I think I will put togeather a template and get feedback first before we all input into data into it. Ill hopefully have something by mid week :) If you have any suggestions for fields or filters let me know

One thing to note is that their are several different IPTV services (Voodoo, IPGuys, IPTV Express, Crown, etc.) that are resold by different vendors. When looking at the service, you are looking for things like channel selection, resolution and bit rate. But for the resellers you are looking at price, responsiveness and helpfulness. The resellers don't really have much, if any, control over the other stuff.

Great job. not sure if I saw it in your chart, but add pricing, ability to record, payment methods offered.
