For those of you who aren’t subscribers of Reboot (paid IPTV Service) it’s CRAZY over the right now. I just subscribed about 2 weeks ago and was amazed at the quality and selection for about $15/ month. Last Thursday the service stopped working so I went on their private Facebook group to see what was up. Here is a basic listing of events.
From the Reboot team:
-
We are under a DDOS attack, please hang tight.
-
3-4 days with no service and promises of being up very soon
-
2-3 more days of no service with promises of being up very soon.
-
Posted – “we are back, go to this repo and load the new version, this is a great repo and will solve most future problems”
-
Posted – “DON’T use the Repo we previously posted – you’ll be hacked” (or something similar)
-
We will be back with a new repo soon, sit tight
-
Somehow, some way someone started posting links of a new Repo or Addon and told everyone to use this new repo to load a new version. For context there are like 1-6 different admins on Reboot and it’s tough to tell who are Admins and who are just users.
-
Posted “Don’t follow the links that someone posted, they are not admins, just scammers out to mess with us” So since there are many admins and it’s impossible to tell if someone is an admin or just a FB follower and posted links it became comical.

Posted – We now have a new Repo (Mayfair?). Don’t use the repo we told you about 3-5 days ago, it’s garbage and won’t work. (WTH??). Use this new one, it's GREAT! yea right.
-
The new repo seems to work for some and not for others.
Since I am only in for $15 it’s great entertainment to see this unfold. They really must have pissed off someone who is doing a rather nice job of messing with Reboot at every turn. The video’s that Omar posts on FB are funny since he always claims it’s no biggie and when they return they will be better than ever but then they get hacked again.
I wonder if this is a sign of things to come for other paid IPTV services. Either way it’s been real. I am bailing and will not renew. Who knows maybe they will get it sorted out and be back better than ever.
I don't believe they've been hacked at all. It's just a scam to string people along and keep collecting money. All these people on their FB page that keep posting "Reboot for Life" are either shills or just plain stupid, and they like giving their money away.
