I'm currently using sportsaccess. Every now and again I run into buffering issues, but 99% of the time it works well in HD. Overall I'm satisfied with it. I haven't tried smoothstreams but sounds like it's something worth checking out.
Smoothstreams when it opens up it's sign ups again. it's around 10 years old and very reliable. Actually they own several sites. They have some movie and cable channels as well, but their primary focus is sports and more sports.
