I am looking for a service that has a wide variety of sports games that are archived in addition to live.
Would like to have the option to try and record the stream, but if something happens, be able to go through the service and watch the game after it is over.
Anything like that?
I understand those limitations, I was just thinking about maybe even if the games were saved for a few days and then removed. Also, they wouldn't even have to be HD quality.
You'd be better off going with a legitimate service for the leagues you want in this case. Most of them offer archives in addition to live streaming. Live streams are often blacked out, but archives aren't. Some even offer archive only access for a discount vs the full package.
This is currently very difficult to do. If you can only imagine how many sports games occur every day and how much bandwidth and server space that costs to archive each person's desired games.
