Is the MAG-254 really that good ??

by samier09

at the moment I use an iptv subscription from iptvthailand.tv .. got a playlist link with username and password included to insert it in the iptv/vlc app.. there are lott's of "premium" TV channels.. I'd say around 2000 .. and they run pretty well on my Pixel-xl.. but to get the TV channels on my TV I have to stream my Phone screen to my TV via Chromecast and zapping time is long and there is no EPG... The iptvthailand support told me that a lot of people like to use their iptv sub with a MAG 254 because it's easy to use...you have the same channels, can have EPG and zapping times are much faster.. you only need a portal link which they could send me in a few minutes.. has someone experienced with a MAG-254 ?? is it really that good? Thank you in advance for any information

take it from me, a user of kodi then switched to STB emulator apps. eventually i bit the bullet and bought a mag254. great piece of kit. I now use kodi for movies/box sets and the mag for iptv - downside is you need two boxes, but thats not even an issue with a multi-universal remote

you won't regret buying a mag254 - its really a much better iptv experience

Mag is only good for 1 thing. A good Android box can do all that and so much more.

Where are you getting the mag? I've heard about it but honestly don't know enough about it. Does it include the subscription as well?

Mag is fantastic. The fact that you have a hardware mac and can use it with up to 8 providers is fantastic. Yes you can use an STB emulator for android, but most of the features don't freaking work yet. I ran with an STB emu for a while and bought a mag because I was sick of things not working properly.

Thinking about getting a mag (250). Has anyone here ordered though Alixpress or Alibaba?
