Difference between Nivida Shield and MAG 254?

Hi, I'm currently running my iptv on Fire TV via Kodi. I'd like to get a box because I hear it's a better experience, but I know nothing about them other than what I've read here. Is a box really that much better? What is the difference between these two? Are there any others I should consider? I really only need it for iptv- EPG and recording capability would be nice. Thanks for your help.

The Mag is specifically for IPTV. If that'd all you want buy a mag and pick up a high quality provider. The Shield only emulates IPTV using STB Emulator, it sucks.

The Shield may he more capable as far as horse power but the Mag is your go to box for strictly IPTV.

The shield is the highest spec android device on the market at the moment, the mag is just a mag and can only stream iptv. There is no comparison, the shiled can do soo much more than just stream iptv. There are a million apps you can put on it that can do a million different things. One if them is a stb emulator which does a very good job of emulating a mag254. No comparison.
