Hello guys, I just bought a month of IKS66 to give it a try to see how it is. I may have jumped the gun I suppose because all the guides I see to set it up state to use Stalker IPTV Add-on which I am now reading is no longer available anymore.. Is there another client I can use this with in Kodi...?
Unfortunately kodi is not ideal for iptv. Lots of people have got it working, so hopefully some of them will chime in here to help, but kodi is always a "crap shoot". There are many reasons for this, but in short stalker plugin is basically a way to emulate a mag iptv box, which in reality, is ROCK solid.
In most home theatre setups I install, I use kodi for local media playback only. For reliability purposes, I choose not to use any plugins with kodi, and install a dedicated iptv box such as a mag, dreamlink, or avov box alongside the Kodi installation.
Additionally, it's possible to install Android emulators Android boxes if you have some laying around, but in my Opinion unless your a techie type person, I almost always recommend a dedicated iptv box that is designed to connect to stalker servers natively.
I browse these reddit very often and questions like yours arrive almost daily.
I always tell people you get what you pay for, and there is no such thing as free tv. While iptv is very close... A good, reliable, proper setup isn't quite free yet.
