I bought a Mag254 a little while ago to use with IPTV, but the service I subscribe to now uses Kodi, so I have this Magbox wasting away right now.

Your reseller dropped mag support for kodi? That is a horrible idea...
If I was in your shoes, I'd either sell it to someone who will use it, or even better find a couple trials and drop your current reseller.
Who knows, you might even find a service that works even better!
I really like the time shifting that the mag does. Does kodi do that with your provider?
