I guess that the answer could be that is either that they service is really good or they habe lot of sales representatives joining reddit.
But I'd like to get more info on what they offer and why people talks so much about them these days.
Is it because it has lot of channels? Ist it because the channels never go down? Or because they have lot of HD channels?
I've been using it since August and the only trouble I've had was the weekend everyone was being DDOS'd. That's it. Some of the channels have just ok quality, but I'm not expecting 1080p or 4k for the price.
They are also one of the only providers that have Canadian channels. At least that I could find.

How can I sign up for ipguys?
High up time and reliability. In other words a higher percentage of their channels work than most and the buffering, sound issues are less in general. They actually have less channels than most others. Likely is at least part of the reason such a large percentage of their channels work. The quality is okay but certainly not the best. Each of the major player's cater to a slightly different group. IPGuys: Lower # of channels, just okay picture quality, high reliability and uptime. They are the go to for quite a number of people.
Is http://ipguys.in/ their official site to get trail and buy? Or is their a different reseller that is cheaper?
I assure you the reason you hear about them is not because of resellers or sales guys...
In fact it's the opposite! Ipguys actually cost resellers more to sell, and resellers need to keep the costs competitive with the cheaper non premium servers or they won't be able to push the credits they purchased. So what really ends up happening is the profit margin for resellers is actually LESS with ipguys... (yes, that means resellers make more money if they sell you a cheaper service that freezes and buffers all the time... Many resellers don't care $$)
Additionally, ipguys is super strict with their resellers. If a reseller gets caught publicly selling the service under the ipguys name, anywhere, eBay etc, they will get their panels locked out.
That's why you don't see much info on ipguys. There's actually more people selling ipguys under different service names than ipguys itself...
No idea its a decent service but its nothing special.
