I'm wondering if it's possible to have/use a real guide on a mag254. The best I get is the channel list on the left and then on the right what's on the selected channel. Is it possible to use a real guide with channel on left and what's playing on them all on right with the time up top making separate columns for each 30 min like sat boxes.
It all depends on your provider as far as I know. But I could be wrong. You can hit the button up top with the 3 lines on it, and will show you what is playing on the current page. It's the button below the music note and above the rewind button. On my service it shows the entire page of channels and what is on with 30 minute timeslots, but I can not change to a channel from this guide. It at least makes it easier to see what's on instead of going through every channel.
Again your provider must support this, but I could be wrong. Hit the button, and get back to us.
