Alert // Stay away from OrbitIPTV.net

by UGY83

I'm new to the ''world'' of IPTV, so I found orbitiptv.net here on reddit.

I got my test account for 24h which worked fine for me and decided to subscribe for minimum period they offerd (three months).

They offered few options for the payment: with credit card, Netteler or Skrill.

So, to protect my credit card data I decided to make payment with Skrill.

Now, it passed 5 days after the payment and whenever I start a chat with them requesting my account they start ignoring me.

Save you time and money and stay away from OrbitIPTV.

Some expirience reddit users should remove them from links here on reddit.

Reddit is a huge target for scammers and for resellers to reach out to the community anonymously and spam their services.

The biggest one lately are offering people free trials, because they know the word free with give a false sense of security when ordering.

A huge warning sign is services that won't let you sign up for 1 month. Huge red flag. Never sign up for more than one month the first time unless you trust and have a good relationship with your reseller.

Also never give out personal info, even if you're paying credit card. Credit card payments are fine, but there should be no need to enter billing info such as address and name etc on small purchases. Credit card number and expiry are usually enough info to process small payments.

People need to read around, there are lots of info on here.

Most legit resellers do not advertise publicly as it opens them up to legal issues. If you see one advertising, click in their profile. Are they cutting and pasting the same ads over and over? Or are they helping people out.

Someone thst is spamming via cut/paste probably isn't going to offer you very good support should something happen, if they can't even make a legitimate ad without being lazy.

If you are looking for ex-yu channels then Rapidiptv is a good option. I've had them for around 3 months now and I am very happy with their service. I'm not sure if they offer a free trial though.
