Help with buffering / weird problem

Hi guys. I'm trying to fix a problem but i don't know what could it be.

I have a provider (flawless). And it used to work really good almost all the time. I used it mainly on Siptv and Kodi while i wait for a my MAG250 to get here. But 99% on the time on Siptv.

2 weeks ago it started to buffer. A lot. I used to be able to watch the FHD channels no problem, but now it is a miracle if i can watch the regular hd channels without problems :(

I just changed ISP (yesterday) and i should have no problem with 100 Mb (download) but it still buffers tremendously.

Just by coincidence i tried their webplayer and it works fine. Even the FHD channels work like they should.

What can be causing the problem?

Any help is very appreciated.

Sorry, can't help, but sounds like a similar problem I've been having the last few days. Smarthub service through Kodi on a Windows box. Everything was streaming great for the past few months, then suddenly a lot of the channels staring pixelating so bad I cant watch them.

Support assures me there have been no changes and no other complaints about it. Strange part is that some of their channels play fine. Other streams, including high bitrate streams from other providers play fine as well.

What isp do you have?

Hmm, this seems to have come up in a few different posts regarding Flawless and a few other iptv services that they seem to be affiliated with, all in the last 2 weeks or so.

I haven't tried their service myself, although I look forward to giving it a go sometime over the Christmas break.

Generally speaking, I would say if you're absolutely sure your connection is not the issue, then it's probably with Flawless overselling or something.

However, you mention that your web player seems to work fine. That in its self suggests that their feeds are ok.

I have no idea how flawless runs things, it's "possible" they even have the webplayer running on a different server then say, some of the other software.

You didnt tell us how you connect with Kodi either, which makes me wonder. Are you using an addon?

There's just so many factors. When you use the web client are on accessing it on the same device that you run Kodi on?

You've done a great job of trying to narrow it down which a lot of people that post here don't even bother to do, but there's still a few loose ends we gotta look at here.

There has to be a logical explaination...either it's the server, the hardware, or your network at home.

That's really the only options!

Try to change your dns in your router to Google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 see if that help.

Apparently flawless, ace iptv and peace country are kind of "affiliated" to each other.

In Ace IPTV Facebook group they claim that the suppliers that provides them Sky channels is having some issues since 1 week approximately.

To be honest I don't know if it's true that it's due to some problems that their supplier is facing, or if it's because they have too many customers and they hardware can't deal with it.... But a lot of customers joined their network since last week (ex-oober customers) so I'm afraid it could be because they oversold :/

UPDATE: I went to check yesterday and it's a christmas miracle! It's all working fine again.

I hope it stays that way because i really like my provider :)
