Satellite and iptv set top box?

by symbiance09

My landlord of the place I recently moved into has free dish network included into the rent to all the tenants.. he has a lower end package and I already have a 6 month subscription to a iptv service.

Is there any iptv set top boxes that allow dish network on it? I know the avov fuse connects to satellite and iptv but not sure if it will connect to dish network with a connect card?

If I'm not able to I'd just use a dish network box in bedroom and iptv box in living room

As far as I know there are many dish set too boxes with iptv features. But I don't know the other way around.

PS: If you have a dish you should migrate to cccam. I heard it's cheaper and more reliable

I've been in the satellite scene for many years, and despite all my posts here in IPTV I still mainly use satellite.

I currently have Charlie and Beverly as well, using both Dreamlink T4 and a Dreamlink T5.

There was a Dreamlink T6 that came out that was supposed to have iptv as well as kodi and still have a satellite tuner in it.

It was received very badly, and at this time it was basically generally accepted that one box will not do both services.

In short, what your looking for is not available. You're better off with a dreamlink T1 alongside a dreamlink t5.

That said, if you loko around alibaba there are chinese junk boxes out there that allow you to install tuners and such, but I woudnt expect any of these to work.

Unlike IPTV, FTA heavily relies on firmware updates from hardware manufacturers and I don't think you'll get the support you want in the form of a dual box.
