I keep reading that the S912's arent any good, lots of bugs. but I don't have one so I can't prove it.
Generally speaking, avoid all android boxes for IPTV use, unless otherwise mentioned in here.
Android boxes are great, but don't get a cheap chines one and expect to get IPTV with it.
True IPTV requires active devlopers for said box, allowing it to properly connect to iptv servers.
If it's just a normal android box, you will have to run emulators on it, or worse KODI, and will be likely sacrificing videos on demand, time-shifting, EPG's, and of course, support. Many high end android boxes (nvidia shield) have jitter problems running iptv on emulators too!
If it's IPTV you want, get a proper box that supports Stalker Middleware (the iptv broadcasting software that Mag's use)
With mag 254s being sourced for like 80 bucks, it's worth spending the extra 20 bucks for something that you know will be supported by tons of servers, without the need of emulator, or sideloading/hacking/rooting boxes
