I know we discussed this a bit in pm, but just to clarify you may need to consider a web based provider. Basically a website with a list of streams. Then you start playing on your laptop or mobile device and then cast the page through the browser.
This should work, but of course you won't get a true IPTV experience and all extra features such as a guide or recording or tineshifting or videos on demand will be unavailable.
All those features would be included at no cost should you actually decide to get a proper device...
