Hey there, I don't believe the T1 does timeshifting.
Changing the timezone won't change the shows that you get I don't think.
So far, I've only see the mag and emulators do this. That said, the t1 has the emulators right in the app store itself for free so you could always give that a go. Best of both worlds :)
Yes it has an EPG. I think time shift depends on what provider you have
