Nighttime freezing on RapidIPTV

by MrCakeums

Got a trial of RapidIPTV on my MAG 254, am relatively satisfied with the channel lineup and the picture quality as a whole but I'm experiencing unwatchable freezing/buffering at night here on the east coast of the US, affecting all US and UK channels (haven't tried any other countries) - don't think it's my internet connection, since I've got a 100Mbit line, and I've already tried rebooting the box. To anyone who's tried Rapid, is this an ongoing issue with them, or am I just experiencing a strange glitch?

PS: Is IPTV Express just a reseller for Rapid? Heard some conflicting info from a few people.

RapidIPTV is shit at peak times. Don't bother subbing there. Good thing you noticed it during the trial.

I use rapid iptv and have no issues. I have a 120mb connection so it might be a glitch on your end tonight.

This has been normal reports for some time. Do a couple searches you should find lots of posts about this over the last 2 weeks or so.

You're only on a trial, so I wouldn't worry about it.

There are reports describing the service as unwatchable at peak hours. But expect this trend to continue. I don't think there is anything wrong with your setup.

Send me a PM if you are interested in trying out Epicstream, its a new service but provides excellent quality. I can set you up on a 24 hour trial.

I have the same issue with them...lost $35, I have a 1GiG internet but I am in the US (Florida). Their server is most likely in .FR(OVH) or .NL(Leaseweb) with saturated bandwidth/peering towards the US. I am trying to find a descent IPTV provider with the same amount of channels but at the same time trying to stay away from Rapid but all I can find are resellers.... If someone from rapid is reading: Get 10gbit in .CA(ovh) & 10gbit .NL (NForce) servers to offer load balancing for your customers.
