Any free, stable IPTV M3U streams?

by TrevorBradley

Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but the m3u files my IPTV smart TV is reading are just online streams. There shouldn't be a requirement that they all come from the same provider.

There are also channels out there (say, Al Jazeera English) that have stable online streams that are available for free.

Putting those together, it should be possible to assemble an m3u file of these streams. It might not have many streams, but there should be a few out there.

Have I gotten this right? If so, has anyone worked on one of these m3u setups? If not, what am I misunderstanding here?

Free is good. But with IPTV, free usually mean it sucks. Pay as little as $4 monthly and it be leap years better

I suggest you use pastebin and just search for "extm3u", most of what will show up is IPTV playlists, but usually only like 20% of each list will work so I suggest you scan the list for working channels and resave it with only working channels. Once you find a few lists you can use SimpleTV to scan it and it will show you dead links so you can delete them, it can also play the channels too.

Edit: You can get SimpleTV here http://plstonline.org/
