Hi guys,
for 2 days now im trying to make iptv happening on my android tv box. I got kodi on it, but i cannot get a pvr client running. When i go to setting-tv-enable i get "You need a tuner, backend software, and an ddon for the backend....." So i got to system-my add-ons-..... and i cant find the pvr client. Dont know what to do anymore, i spent quiet some time on google, youtube and other forum and im about to smash the box.

you may not have any PVR client addons installed.
Yeah I ran into this on my kodi as well.
I ended up just giving up on kodi and came back to it a little later with a new distribution and it worked ok.
Kodi falls flat on its face with iptv anyways. This could be a blessing in disguise
Case closed. In case anyone runs into the same issue with an android box.
Deinstall kodi because for whatever reason the seller decided to deliver the android box without a pvr version. After deinstall, install kodi from official google playstore and it works.
Settings/Add-ons/My Add-ons//PVR-clients/PVR IPTV Simple Client
Activate and configure it with your m3u line
