Ideally what I want to do is switch between different groups of channels within the EPG by accessing the options menu in the bottom left here .
I am running this on a PC using a MCE remote and I can't figure out how to get the focus on that options icon to select it. In theory I could probably scroll all the way to the bottom of the channel list but that is inelegant at best.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Could someone maybe suggest a workaround?

Good question. I can't help you specifically, but I use a flirc USB ir receiver can you can customize ever button press system wide...
You should be able to accomplish this very easily without needed to edit any settings.

It will let you use any remote. I use the Xbox one one with backlighting it's sexy as he'll!
