mag254 - is there a way to find out which provider im with?

i bought a mag254 a year ago from a guy locally, and paid in advance for a year for my inlaws. well the year is coming up, and i cant get ahold of the person i bought from. inlaws are happy with the service.. would like to stick with the same service if possible, but i'm not sure if i can tell which one it is

Hello friend, as you are using a Mag device,there are two simple ways to see what provider/portal you are using.1. If you are using LAN Internet just take the Ethernet cable which gives internet to the box out and plug the box it will start and then give you connection error then under the connection error message, you will see your provider/portal url. 2.go to settings and then in the inner portal go to servers and then select portal. There should be the portal url of the provider you are using. Hope that helps.

Each providers usually has a common factor to their address

Edit: Once with a provider unless you use the same reseller you are locked from that provider.
