I am looking for American, Canadian, Cricket and Indian channels mostly with good VOD content. Is there another service that you can recommend that I try?

I do believe star has some of the most indian content over some of the other servers. My friends went from star to ipguys though and haven't gone back to star as star seemed to struggle with some buffering. There are lots of star alternatives out there such as ipguys, express, voodoo, gold, and more. You'll just need to try them out to see what works best for you.
You can also check out channel lists over at pastebin.com, but it may take a few minutes to search them out.

Maybe desi TV? It is a heavy Indian channel provider... there is also English content as well.
