How do people do IPTV with Android boxes?

by aGenIngE

With an android box, do most people use Kodi or an emulator for their IPTV viewing? I have a T1, and use the dreamonline app, and it works great, but a friend bought a Kahos II 4K and is asking for advice. Does this have a stalker app? Or just kodi? Any comments would be welcome. Thanks.

Some have their own dedicated apps, some perfect player but I think most use kodi as it's easier to tell people set up instructions

Perfect player is the one of the best android apps for iptv I have tried. Easy to use and setup.

Progdvb is probably the best overall. It has a lot of settings to mess around with recording and pause live TV capabilities. Not so user friendly though

Perfect Player for me.

StbEmu on my android box

I use Perfect Player though i'd really like something with a nicer theme, or a solution that is open source so that I can theme it myself. Kodi is one option but just too cumbersome for what I need it for.

If you're using dol with the t1, you know how good it is and you won't get this out of your friends box.

You're using a stalker server, so your choices on his box if he wants the same service will be an emulator or kodi plugins but even then on kodi he won't get vod or timeshift like you do.

Just have him sell the box. You won't be able to get him the sweet setup you have :)

I go thru this daily with coworkers and friends that have other boxes. I gave up trying to help them...

Nobody responding in this post have t1s so they can't relate like we can :) trust me. Do your friend a fav and get him a proper box.

I have a MAG 254, so on Android I use STBEmu which is pretty decent at giving me the same Mag experience.

I use Kodi for all of my streams. Jinx tv, Gears tv and Vader streams have Kodi add-ons with great guides.
