Need help selecting a proper service.

by macorld

So I am new to all this. I have a Nvidia ShieldTV that I would like to use IPTV on.

After researching a few things, I feel like express IPTV, IPguys(via http://iptv.iprocket.net ) and FabIPTV are the 3 services I have short listed.

I don't care for adult channels.

I do care for High quality and 4k would be great because I have a big 4k tv and anything of lower quality looks really bad on it. Well apparently it's asking for too much lol.

I have been told that STBemu is jittery and thats the only way to get express and IPguys to work on my device.

I did try FabIPTV at a friends place and it looked good but I found the quality good but not as good as I have wanted.

http://iptv.iprocket.net seems to have good customer service but the 1500kbps bitrate kind of makes me a bit skeptical.

express iptv seems to have 4k but I am not finding too many reviews about them and what I have found have been mixed. I also don't know about decent reseller for them.

Thanks!

If you want 4k, you;re going to have a really bad time.

Why do you people always insist on shit that doesn't exist, and demand it for prices that are unreal. If you want 4k, get a REAL sub with a REAL provider. You do realize that most pirate iptv streams are only 3-4mb at most..and that's megabit, not Megabytes. It's going to look like shit on your tv.

And if ya'll mother fuckers are going to downvote me for telling the truth, then go ahead and continue to lie to yourselves.

IPGUYS is great. All the channels aren't 720p, heck most aren't even 540p, but the price, it's sure as fuck better than paying $120+ a month. And the reliability, I've had it go down less times than my real service.

hey

did you get a chance to try out Epicstream? Epic offers better video quality as compared to FAB or IPGUYS.

if you are interested, send me a PM for trial.

I run IPTV on my shield and through SPMC (which you should be using over Kodi btw) np. If you are focused more on the ability to simply watch some channels with little regard to extra features like playback/vod, then I wouldn't read too much into a few "jittery" feedback comments. Lots more people then not report getting it up and working with no issues.

Blue-Thunder is right though in the need to temper you expectations with IPTV in general, regardless what provider you choose. If sports is your thing maybe give Smoothstreams a try. It's been rock solid for me so far (a week now) and my favorite of the bunch I've tried given my needs.

What type of channels are you mainly interested in?

Express & IPGuys are both great services. Express has better picture quality while IPGuys have a more accurate EPG from my experience. Both are excellent services although I'm unsure how the experience would be through STBEmu, I run them through a Dreamlink T1 and the experience is just like a cable/satellite company.

Vader streams is also very good, /u/insiderip from iptv.iprocket.net also offers that. It's very focused on Sports but also has a good selection of other channels. Pic quality is excellent and the EPG is ok.

Looking forward to trying out Epicstreams from /u/fr0-z3n very soon. I've been hearing very good things about his service.

To be honest with you, if you're looking for 4K on an IPTV, you're looking at the wrong service, however if you want something which comes close, try www.themasteriptv.com - PM for free trial if you want..
