When iptv express is running on the mag, if you go to settings, there is no option to go to inner portal like other services have. The only options are restart portal or restart device. Both take you back to iptvexpress. I just noticed that because I was running multiple services on the mag and i was always taken back to the list of service when I reboot. So, how do I go back to inner portal from iptvexpress?
But I need to get to the inner/embedded portal, not the bios. For instance, to add a new server or check for firmware updates.
Ok, I found a way that I didn't pay attention to before.
When you hit restart portal from the outer portal settings, a splash screen appears quickly stating the portal is being restarted, but it also says hit 'Menu' to go to the Portal selection menu. Hitting menu comes up with a list of your portals, including the embedded portal.
That is strange. I don't have one to test with, but google how to enter mag 254 bios.
By powering up and holding down a combination of buttons you can tell it what nand to boot from and many others options.
If I recall correctly, all settings from the inner portal were also listed there. It's been a while tho so I can't remember off thr top of my head
