Is it possible that my ISP is blocking me from using IPTV?

by fudgeyall

I paid for a subscription for Vaders Streams and after a day I'm no longer able to access it on my home connection. I can switch to my hotspot and it work fine. I spoke to the reseller and he said some ISP's were known to block IPTV. I'm having a hard time finding any information on google about this, so I believe its BS. Any one have any idea?

Is it possible for you to try to connect to the IPTV service over VPN? If it works flawlessly over VPN then it might be the ISP. It could also be that your provider has banned your IP address.

I have routed all of my IPTV traffic over a VPN, Virgin media in the UK also seem to cause issues :)

This exact thing happened to me. . . worked for one day, then nothing. I thought perhaps vaders.tv blocked my IP for too many hit or something because I couldn't even access their website. Turns out, it was DEFINITELY my ISP. I looked around and went with IPVanish as a VPN and after a quick setup with IPVanish, everything worked perfectly after that.

What ISP are you using? We at NecroIPTV also have some problems with BT and generally UK Internet. By offering a second DNS Link we were able to bypass this.

Same here , Vader not working after 2 months with no problems. Hoping to find a solution, good luck

Sure its possible. This is why net neutrality is a thing.

I disconnected my router and now I'm plugged directly into my modem and it's working fine. It must be something with my router. It's a NETGEAR R7800. I'll take a look at it in a bit.

Really!? I finally got mine workin by unplugging ethernet cable, apparently the vpn wasnt working with it plugged in. I knew it was gonna be something stupid.
