Looking for a provider

by flippinphil

Hello I just bought a T1 and I am looking for a provider. Below are some things that I find important:

Time shift Detroit sports HD content -not needed for everything Working EPG Dream link compatible Us channels PPV events. UFC and WWE

I have seen a lot of good things about epicstreams and ipguys, but based on the criteria above I am looking for opinions on what would work best for me.

I am also open to alternatives. Looking to spend 10-20 a month us.

IPGuys - Stable. They did have a outage within the last week

Epicstreams - HQ streams

IPGuys has time shift and epic is coming. They both will work with Dreamlink and has EPG. They both have us channel.

For PPV. Epic worked well well for UFC and Bellows fight. No drops or buffering.

Detroit specific channels may be deal breaker with most IPTV provider

From personal experience, and from the advice I received here, the best thing to do is to budget $30-40/mth for the next 3 or 4 months to try out various services and see which one you like the best.

I am in a similar position to yours. I bought my T1 about 2 weeks ago and have tried 4 different services. Two, epic streams and FabIPTV, I tried only on 24 hour trials. While it was nice to try them, one day just isn't enough time to make an educated decision on the value.

Currently, I have CrownTV and IPTV Express on a monthly sub and both offer very good quality. I have been stuck on Crown for the past week because the EPG is far superior in my opinion and I like knowing what's on.

I plan to try IPGuys soon for a month and I might try epic again. When I had my trial, the epic EPG was pretty bad, but the reseller I used assures me that isn't usually the case, that they did a reset at the server level and its better now.

Another thing you might like about Crown is the Detroit locals. I noticed you mentioned Detroit sports and, being from Sarnia, ON, about 50 miles from Detroit, it is nice getting those local affiliates.

Hope that helps...

Currently I'm running IPTVGuys and ACETV as a back up. At the end of the month I'm dropping Ace as they have went down the toilet in my opinion. They just suckered me into a new sub they created that was supposed to be more catered to US people...started out great and then went to crap. Constant freezing and total channel loss. They have excellent customer service and they try to fix the problem right away but the problems are too many.

IPGUYS are great! They are my main sub! I'm very happy with them. Everyone else gave the run down on them so I won't repeat them.

I to would like a recommendation for a good US channel line up! And I mean a good one that doesn't have CA feeds...can't stand the CA feeds being sold as USA feeds. I want a good replacement for ACE!!
