Setting up router for IPTV- Dreamlink T1

Have recently got a Dreamlink T1 and I've tried a number of different free IPTV services through DOL and they all buffer after 5 seconds or so. The only one that seems to work smoothly with no buffering at all is HD subs.

Can someone please direct me to how to setup my router so that this doesn't occur? My box is plugged in via ethernet and my download speed is regularly around 8-10mbps. Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: What I'm getting at in regards to my router is, can I log into the router and make any changes to it, like WAN or similar? Or should it normally work without fiddling with router settings?

I m not sure what setting up the router means. But you should look into getting a paid IPTV sub.

They cost as low as $4.xx a month depending on which service you buy and what duration you pay for.

If you wanna pay as little as possible and still want a stable service , I would suggest Fab IPTV.

Otherwise IPTV Express , IPGuys , Epic are all highly recommended ones.

Have you used ipguys? I only ask because when troubleshooting boxes I always load up ipguys on the box to use as a reference point.

It never buffers so it's the best comparison :) it may not be your router at all though.

What process are you doing to do the speed test?

Realistically you need to use a pc wired and do the speedtest. That will tell you your true internet speed.

Then do a speedtest on thr box itself. If it's Android use speedtest app or if a mag the speedtest in the menu. Cross reference to see if there are issues.
