Should we be concerned? Or not so much? Also if you use a vpn with iptv how does it work?

The biggest backlash you will get is if you have data caps/limits. If you have a 1TB or lower limits, then having IPTV on 24/7, it will crush your data plan.
As for VPN, not all IPTV providers allow this. I know FabIPTV will allow VPNs.
If you're that worried, get a legit service.
I have VPN set up in one of my two boxes. It slows down IPTV a bit, I get more buffering in my VPN box. My IPTV works fine in both. This also depends on the quality of VPN you get, I'm new to VPN I'm not sure I set it 100% correct.
VPN breaks Netflix and Playstation Vue.
I say yes! Prepare yourself for a life of hard time with a big guy named Bubba using you as his "girlfriend"!! Stay away from IPTV!! Stay FAR, FAR away!!
[this is my new strategy, I figure servers will have better stability with fewer subscribers, so I'm gonna start scaring people away! Haha]
