Rocket/IKS66/NFPS thoughts? Remove from sub $10 list?

by acaoacao

Right now Rocket/IKS66/NFPS is at the top of the sub $10 list. Most new customers might try them first for the price alone... and ruin their IPTV experience and drive them away.

Should we remove from the list until performance improves? Any thoughts

If the main goal of that list is really aimed at helping people, my suggestion would be to up the limit to $15, which better covers and points them towards a few of the more popular and ample feedback providers here as opposed to a couple of those "who?" up there now.

I'd also drop the somewhat cheesy multi-month or yearly per/month price as it's main listing and qualification. List the one month price first and foremost, then the potential bonus savings as an added note. The last thing any non-reseller should be doing here is encouraging a noobie or just somebody checking around to buy more then a one month look imo. Especially if/when they really don't end up "saving" anything when it turns out to be crap, and just leaves them looking for something else.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't use that list in the slightest when I first started to look into IPTV. I read about experiences to see which service was getting the best reviews, not just here, but in other forums aswell. Cheap wasn't my first concern because $15 is still pretty damned cheap compared to my $90 cable bill!

I just paid 4 for them and having nothing good or bad to say really. Although I do like their channel lineup.

Edit: I think it's perfect for a backup IPTV service at the cost.

I tried it and most of the channels I tried it for were down nearly all the time. NYC local/news/sports channels were why I gave it a shot.
