Is this a known issue?
using Voodoo on Mag 254.
Almost every morning (approx 730am Eastern Time is when I turn it on) on weekdays, ESPN HD (on sports group) has no sound. I guess its not my equipment's problem because other channels have sound, plus this same ESPN has sound other times (like in the evening).
Asked the reseller I get it from and (as expected) they said they do not control the streams.
Is this a known issue among others?
Isn't that a good thing? No Monday morning quarterbacking? As a IPTV provider, we would report the issue with the source of our streams. If it is inhouse sources that usually gets corrected right away. If it is an external source they notify the source as well.
Your reseller is doing the right thing but they do have one level of support to jump through and delay the process.
As a IPTV provider, we do have the ability to do things quicker for our customers.. like MAC address changes, password changes.. etc. etc.

They say the providers sometimes read the comments and fix things (no video, no sound, missing channels, etc).
