Disappointed with Dreamlink t1 + Vader experience.

by guacmol

So I had high hopes going into this.

Dreamlink t1 seemed to be the way to go and Vader's multistream at $11.95 from iprocket was perfect for me.

Got it, Set it up but I am disappointed. Some channels play as if they are in slow mo.

The changing of channels seem to be slow.

VOD doesn't work for me. I press the VOD button on the remote and VOD section opens and than I can't do anything or select anything .

Vader in itself is a great service via Kodi but I am disappointed with dreamlink t1 and vader as a combo.

Anyone else use the same?

I have Vader and a T1, and I know /u/colin6 does as well. I have not had any of the lagging issues you describe on the live channels. Channel change is fast, picture quality is excellent, EPG info, when available, is accurate and full. My only issue with Vader so far is that every night (and I've only had them for a few days) the EPG info disappears at about 6 or 7 pm. I've tried resetting the T1, switching to other services and back, etc. Nothing helps. The next morning, its working fine again.

Quality issues, though? Nope. Its great.

Can't speak on the VOD issues because I rarely use VOD with any service.

Some Vader channels are completely unwatchable. Some have a corrupt audio stream have crashes my Kodi instalation with a segmentation fault.

Waiting to use on mag so I let you know how it goes on that to compare

I always suggest, for troubleshooting purposes, grab yourself an ipguys account and see if the prpblem persists. It's cheaper than buying a 2nd box. That is a good starting point to find out where the problems are. Your current reseller also offers ipguys, perhaps he can set you up for a day or so to try.

I have none of these issues whatsoever.....Vader/Pioneer has hit's flaw's, mostly in it's EPG. But if you want full sports coverage of any event out there, I have not had a single event I couldn't watch with a great pic and sound.

It works on mag but very limited compared to kodi

Hey can anyone tell me what wireless capabilities this thing has? I thought it was supposed to support 2X2 300mbps connections?

I have a high end router and this thing cannot even see the AC bands.

Having same choppiness issues with Vaderstreams on a Dreamlink T1 Plus.

Trying to use it in Kodi makes it unwatchable, I couldn't even catch a football game today because it was running about 10fps.

How do I set this up in DOL? Do I use the link vaders.tv/c/? or http://vaders.tv/c/ ? or something else? Do I check certificate and put in my username/password? leave it blank? sorry and thanks for help!
